Hours: 10-20hrs per week, Flexible, with at least 4–6 hours overlap with UK business hours Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Video Editor who specializes in social media and podcast editing to support our client’s growing digital content needs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in editing videos for YouTube, TikTok, and podcast platforms , ensuring that each piece of content is engaging, brand-aligned, and optimized for visibility. This role requires both technical expertise and creative insight , turning long‑form podcast or recorded content into engaging short‑form clips that perform well across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities Download, organize, and edit raw video content from Riverside FM recordings and other sources. Produce high‑quality YouTube‑ready videos (adding captions, graphics, intros/outros, and visual enhancements). Create short‑form video snippets (reels/clips) for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn . Ensure all videos are formatted, captioned, and optimized for each platform’s best practices. Add branding elements such as logos, lower thirds, or transitions as needed. Manage file storage, maintain a clear folder structure, and ensure easy content retrieval. Collaborate closely with the Social Media VA for smooth scheduling and posting. Suggest creative improvements to enhance audience engagement and video performance. Qualifications Proven experience in video editing for YouTube and social media (samples required). Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools. Strong understanding of platform‑specific requirements (aspect ratios, durations, captions). Knowledge of basic audio editing and color correction. Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and maintain consistent communication. Experience editing podcast episodes (long‑form and short‑form cuts) is a strong plus. Preferred Qualities Creative, detail‑oriented, and passionate about storytelling through video. Comfortable working autonomously while maintaining alignment with brand tone and strategy.
