DevOps Engineer

Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone, Central Luzon, Philippines We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines on AWS . The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ECS , Fargate , CloudFront , WAF , and Load Balancers , ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security across all environments. You will play a key role in automating deployments , managing containerized workloads , and implementing monitoring, cost optimization, and compliance best practices . This position is ideal for engineers passionate about infrastructure automation and cloud-native operations . Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using ECS , Fargate , CloudFront , WAF , ALB/NLB , and related services. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker and orchestration best practices. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions via AWS CloudWatch to ensure high availability and system reliability. Optimize cloud costs , performance , and scalability through proactive configuration and resource management. Enforce security compliance , including IAM policies , VPC configurations , encryption , and WAF rules . Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues efficiently. Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and ensure seamless production releases . Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Technology , or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a cloud infrastructure role. Strong expertise with AWS services , including ECS , Fargate , CloudFront , WAF , and Load Balancers . Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands‑on experience with GitHub Actions , Jenkins , or GitLab CI . Experience with monitoring and alerting tools , particularly AWS CloudWatch . Strong knowledge of networking , scaling strategies , and infrastructure security .
