Vendor Governance Management Senior Analyst – Manulife – Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines The Vendor Governance Management Senior Analyst reports locally to the Director, 3rd Party Vendor Risk Governance at MBPS and supports the Sr. Director, Vendor Governance Management in Canada. The role is responsible for ensuring effective risk management of the company’s vendors globally, providing a critical element of the first line of defense. The analyst monitors and manages vendor risk through risk assessment of procurement intake requests, conducts pre‑screening questionnaires, supports mailbox management and reporting, and influences stakeholders to adhere to vendor risk management policy. Responsibilities Own the intake process at the Vendor Governance level, actioning intakes, risk‑stratifying requests, and managing customer requests while acting as the face of the Vendor Governance Managers. Assess the complexity and risk level of the project/request submitted to the intake tool and decide on the right procurement process and the appropriate SME involvement. Interact with business owners, subject matter experts and senior management to complete pre‑screening questions quickly and accurately. Understand the end‑to‑end procurement process and integration points to ensure business requests are addressed efficiently and bottlenecks are avoided. Actively monitor the Ivalua Intake Tool to ensure business needs are captured from start to finish. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the role. Stay informed about the latest developments in vendor risk management. Perform any other job‑related instructions as requested. Ensure Third‑Party Risk Module data alignment and accuracy. Support the creation of other required VGM reports. Implement controls on processes that ensure data integrity and accuracy across the entire reporting workflow. Actively monitor and manage VGM mailboxes to capture business needs accurately from start to finish. Complete any ad‑hoc tasks or projects as required for the team. Required Qualifications More than 2 years’ experience in Vendor Governance, Vendor Management, Third‑Party Risk, Corporate Procurement or Contact Center, with 3+ years delivering reports to stakeholders. Graduated from a 4‑year degree program. Ability to work night shift or shifts required to support the business. Knowledge of risk and control practices, procedures and principles. Preferred Qualifications Excellent written and spoken communication and problem‑solving skills. Highly engaged with strong interpersonal skills and a service‑oriented attitude toward stakeholders and customers. Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities, manage multiple demands and complete tasks under strict timelines. Proficient PC skills with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint. Attentive to detail and quality, well‑organized, innovative and results‑driven.
