Overview

We are seeking motivated professionals to join an established restructuring and advisory firm. Full-time opportunities are available for Senior Accountants.

In this role, you will work on diverse engagements, including Independent Business Reviews, Restructuring, Turnaround, and Formal Insolvency assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day issues on formal restructuring engagements, including trade-on management, receipts, and payments, and assist in stakeholder communication both written and verbal.
• Preparation of creditor reports, statutory reports and lodgments.
• Dealing with and reporting to various stakeholders including creditors, banks and statutory authorities.
• Completing investigations into the financial affairs of distressed companies.

Candidates must have

• Proven experience as an Insolvency Accountant handling Australian clients
• Ideally, 2+ years recent restructuring and insolvency experience
• Business / accounting related degree or equivalent
• CA / CPA qualified or commenced
• ARITA qualified or interested undertaking
• An assertive communicator, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid understanding of industry standards
• Highly motivated, with a strong work ethic and flexibility to the challenges of working in a professional environment
• Strong team orientation
• Leadership aspirations or experience
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Able to work independently, with discretion and initiative
• Own laptop and stable internet connection

Work Schedule

• Employment type: Full-time
• Shift: Day Shift, Mon - Fri 06:00 AM - 03:00 PM (Tentative)
• Work setup: Permanent WFH
