Job Summary

The Change Analyst will be responsible for supporting account operations company wide. Duties include creating inventory impact reports for changes to orders, reviewing and identifying changes to customer orders including Bill of Material (BOM) changes, and supporting various data analysis and administrative activities. Detailed knowledge of analytic software including Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collect and format inventory reports including on hand/on order/demand for all sites.
• Provide inventory demand reports for all claims and cancellations (E&O).
• Provide comparisons of single and multi-level BOMs to identify material changes.
• Work with change originators to correct issues with change submissions.
• Escalate to Supervisor when there is a system failure to implement changes.

Role Levels and Duties

• Change Analyst: Level 1, Entry level — Perform Level 1 tasks and support, under supervision.
• SR Change Analyst: Level 2 — Perform Level 1 tasks without supervision, act as point of contact for internal customers, may perform ECO Coordinator duties, provide training to Change Analysts and employees reviewing claims, and collaborate with Account Operations program managers on claim assessments.
• Change Engineer: Level 3 — Perform ECO Coordinator or Change Analyst duties, maintain CCB/logs, conduct CCB meetings, review and report claims metrics, create training documents, and review processes for CIP improvements.
• SR Change Engineer: Level 4 — Perform Level 3 tasks without supervision, manage CCB activities, conduct claim review meetings, provide training to CCB members and new employees.
• Change Supervisor — May be a people manager; responsible for training document updates to QMS, cross-department training, and leading CIP/strategic initiatives.
• Change Manager — People manager with multiple sites; approve training document changes to QMS, manage resources, and oversee strategic CIP initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service orientation
• Ability to work with all departments to ensure on-time delivery and quality goals
• Ability to read technical details on weldment prints
• Experience with weldment manufacturing preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with ERP estimating systems such as Visual, Vista, Oracle, etc.; MS Excel, Word, and Access

Educational/Certification Requirements

• Engineering Degree or equivalent work experience in an Engineering discipline for level 1-2
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering/technical discipline for level 3-Manager

Experience

• 2-5 years’ quoting and weldment manufacturing experience (Level 1-2)
• 5+ years’ experience in DC/Engineering services in a semiconductor or similar industry (Level 3 and supervisor position)
• 5 years’ experience managing personnel and projects for manager position

Work Schedule

• Flexible scheduling is required; supervisor will accommodate schedules and will provide as much notice as possible for changes. Special circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis by management.
