Overview

Remote positions with fewStones, a video production agency based in Singapore. We work with large and small companies and have an established brand for more than 10 years. We offer a dynamic and creative environment covering the full spectrum of video services, with opportunities to develop skills and interact directly with clients.

We are looking for experienced Live Action Video Editor to join the team on a long-term basis. The candidate should have strong experience and proven references in live action video editing.

What you’ll do
  • Perform the full range of editing tasks from splicing, sound balancing, color correction, to color grading.
  • Review the script to understand video production requirements.
  • Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video.
  • Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important project components.
  • Ensure correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client specifications.
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous work experience as a video editor with live action editing references.
  • Hands-on experience with editing software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro) and color correction/grading.
  • Strong design sense and creativity applied to video editing.
  • Ability to complete projects within given timeframes and work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Reliable internet connection.

  • Portfolio or samples demonstrating live action editing capabilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to client needs and project requirements.
