Senior Software Engineer- Full Stack

Med-Metrix Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Location: Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines The Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack will collaborate to define, design, and ship new features in a production application while improving existing functionality. The role is also responsible for fixing bugs and enhancing application performance. Required Shift: 9AM-5PM EST Responsibilities Implement all aspects of application design, from initial concepts, spikes, coding, performance, security, scalability, code reviews, testing, and deployment. Write TypeScript, HTML, and SCSS utilizing Angular and rxjs for front-end client applications. Write TypeScript using Node.js for serverless architecture, hosted on AWS with Lambdas and Docker containers. Design and implement APIs using serverless REST APIs and WebSocket services. Design databases using DynamoDB as the primary database. Manage infrastructure through CDK and CloudFormation. Manage and improve continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Perform functional testing in a local development environment. Write unit tests and integration tests. Monitor new features post-deployment using monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry). Collaborate with product management to understand and build out requirements for new work. Collaborate with the software engineering team to develop new features, resolve issues, and share knowledge. Other duties as assigned. Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with HIPAA standards; comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies. Limit viewing of PHI to the minimum necessary to perform assigned duties. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on full-stack web application development. Minimum of 2 years of experience with Angular, rxjs, and TypeScript. Proven track record of designing and implementing features on web applications as a full-stack engineer. Familiarity with cloud-based environments (AWS, Serverless, Lambda, S3 or comparable from Azure, Google Cloud, etc.). Some database experience with DynamoDB or a comparable database. Familiarity with cloud computing security and scalability best practices. Ability to work independently and with a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong problem solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities; results-oriented with integrity and dependability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer-focused and collaborative.
