• Participate in all phases of a financial statement audit and audit of internal controls;
• Assign work to team members and review their work prior to completion and delivery back to customers;
• Understand the service delivery model and the suite of services provided by their assigned service delivery team and how workflow is managed within the company's workflow management tool;
• Participate in training, coaching and other developmental opportunities for Analysts and Associates on your team and across other teams, where necessary;
• Consistently demonstrate teamwork by contributing to a positive working environment, building solid relationships with team members, and proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback;
• Participate in a wide range of projects with creative thinking and individual initiative.
• Raise appropriate review points and discussion on work done to ensure team learning;
• Assign work based on the team\'s availability and capacity;
• Demonstrate awareness of the team’s workload and communicate resource requirements when appropriate;
• Coach staff by providing proactive and constructive feedback to help them develop and meet objectives;
• Demonstrate ability to lead or coordinate and take ownership of projects/initiatives;
• Present ideas and suggestions on how to improve work processes.

• Educational Background
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting;
  • At least 4 years relevant work experience in assurance, tax, accounting and/or analysis work (must have at least 3 years of external audit experience);
  • Open to individual contributors or at least 1 year of people management experience.
• Certifications
  • Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent will be advantageous.
• Preferred Knowledge and Skills
  • Demonstrates knowledge of IFRS/ US GAAP, with industry-specific understanding of business and accounting issues and technical accounting and financial reporting standards.
  • Supports teamwork dynamics by contributing to a positive working environment and seeking guidance and feedback.

• Specific Technical Skills
  • Proficient in English reading, writing and oral communication;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and Adobe Acrobat;
  • Able to coach and supervise associates.

  • Comfortable working and communicating with team members at all levels including senior management.
