AMACC Makati-College Teacher (IT)-Full Time/Part Time

A college faculty teacher responsibilities are delivers lectures, facilitates discussions, prepares instructional materials, evaluates student performance, and engages in research, all within the context of their specific field of expertise. They may also participate in curriculum development, academic advising, and contribute to the broader academic community.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Instruction: Delivering lectures, leading discussions, and supervising student projects.
• Curriculum Development: Contributing to the design, development, and revision of course curricula.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Evaluating student work through exams, assignments, and other assessments, and providing feedback to students.
• Research: Conducting research, publishing findings, and contributing to the advancement of knowledge in their field.
• Academic Advising: Providing guidance and support to students on academic matters.
• Community Engagement: Participating in department meetings, committees, and other activities to support the academic institution.
• Professional Development: Staying current with developments in their field and participating in relevant training and conferences.

Job Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree.
• Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience at the college or university level is an advantage.
• Licensure: If applicable
• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for effective teaching and interaction with students and colleagues.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills are needed for effective collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.
• Commitment to Teaching and Research: A passion for teaching and a commitment to ongoing professional development are also important.
