Job Description The incumbent shall assist the AVP for Tax Strategy, Advisory, Corp Structuring & M&A in introducing comprehensive tax governance, policies, guidelines, best tax practices and planning techniques, ensuring that the Group is kept fully abreast of changes and impacts of relevant tax knowledge, developments and requirements. The incumbent will provide appropriate oral and written interpretations to avoid exposure to tax risks and optimize tax savings. Additionally, the incumbent assists in optimizing the Group’s tax position by building knowledge of tax laws, relevant tax rulings and regulations, and tax law developments, promoting compliance through correct interpretation of these laws. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Accountancy At least five (5) years of relevant work experience Audit experience is an advantage Certified Public Accountant is required Working knowledge in Accounting and Tax principles, systems and audit Strong written and verbal communication skills Interpersonal skills Keen attention to detail, precision, and accuracy Management skills such as planning, organizing, leading, and controlling Seniority Level Mid-Senior level Employment Type Full-time Job Function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industry: Food Production Location: Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines #J-18808-Ljbffr
