ACCOUNTING MANAGER – CPA
Davao City - Local applicants preferred

We are looking for a CPA Accounting Manager who will lead the Accounting Department and oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timely closing, strong internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Accounting Department and its day-to-day operations
Oversee GL, AP, AR, accruals, month-end closing, fixed assets, reconciliations, and tax accounting
Develop and improve accounting and loan-related processes and procedures
Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, remittances, SEC reports, and regulatory requirements
Prepare financial and management reports for Senior Management and the Board of Directors/Owners
Establish and maintain sound accounting policies, controls, and procedures
Lead, coach, and develop the Accounting team
Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial records and reports
Ensure compliance with the latest tax laws, regulations, and accounting requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
CPA License is required
At least 5 years of Accounting Manager experience , preferably with strong exposure to taxation and receivables
Proven people-management and supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of accounting operations, tax compliance, and financial reporting
Highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and accurate
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Confident in presenting financial matters and reports to the Board of Directors and business owners
