Join or sign in to apply for the Accountant - R2R role at V.Group. This role is part of Global Shared Service (Finance Shared Service Centre of V. Group) and focuses on achieving quality, efficiency, and timely processing of financial activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general accounting and reporting
  • Process journal entries
  • Prepare accruals, prepayments & provisions
  • Process allocations and period-end adjustments
  • Post and reconcile intercompany transactions
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform consolidations
  • Prepare trial balance and management adjustments
  • Perform fixed-asset accounting and maintain fixed-asset master data
  • Process and record fixed-asset additions, retires, adjustments, revaluations, and transfers
  • Calculate and record depreciation; reconcile fixed-asset ledger
  • Adhere to accounting procedures, facilitate financial reporting
  • Prepare business unit financial statements, cash flows, and IC reports
  • Assist with budgets, revenue projections, and forecasting
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
  • Assist with annual audit preparations and address audit findings
  • Support development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
  • Prepare and file internal revenue taxes and VAT-related filings as applicable
Qualifications
  • Full-time graduation in Commerce or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in GL accounting
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Excellent accounting knowledge; ERP experience is an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication; good interpersonal and business skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and keyboard shortcuts
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Desirable: English fluency; additional languages are a plus
