Senior Microbiologist

We are seeking a Senior Microbiologist with proven expertise in managing daily operations, supervising and mentoring technical teams, and ensuring full compliance with DOH, ISO 17025:2017, and GLP standards. The role involves method development, validation, and driving process improvements while maintaining strict safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will manage project timelines and provide technical consultation to clients with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or Microbiology or related fields.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Microbiologist.
• Must be A PAM certified Registered Microbiologist (RMicro) .
• Experience with aseptic techniques and sterility testing.
• Knowledge of water, cosmetics, and pharma testing is an advantage.
• Familiarity with identification techniques for bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
• Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
• Knowledge in conducting method verification, validation, and development of analytical methods.
• Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience.
• Creative, versatile, able to work efficiently and meet output deadlines.

• Oversee the daily operations of the microbiology laboratory.
• Supervise, train, and mentor laboratory analysts and technicians.
• Develop and maintain laboratory schedules and workflow processes.
• Lead method development and validation projects.
• Design and implement laboratory improvement initiatives.
• Manage timelines and deliverables for testing projects.
• Provide technical consultation to clients regarding testing results.
• Signatory for DOH, ISO 17025:2017, and other required lab accreditations.
• Ensure laboratory compliance with safety regulations and proper waste disposal.
• Ensure compliance with Safety and Health Management.
• Maintain Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), safety, and housekeeping in the instrumentation section.
• Applicant must be willing to work in San Pablo City, Laguna .
