Analyze financial trends and manage credit risk for borrowing relationships, supporting underwriting decisions at Citibank.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide analysis of business financial trends, indicators, and client data for presentation to the Underwriting Manager.
  • Manage risk associated with new and existing borrowing relationships.
  • Perform spreads of client business financial statements.
  • Create Customer Accounting Systems through Credit Platform.
  • Recognize potential client risk through early warning systems.
  • Perform periodic financial statement reviews and track established financial covenants.
  • Monitor compliance to borrowing base credit facility.
  • Accompany Underwriting Manager on customer site visits when appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with Citibank policies for satisfactory ratings from internal and external auditors.
  • Assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup, clients, and assets by driving compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Apply sound ethical judgment and escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently.
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in a financial institution focusing on credit analysis and spreading activities.
  • Fresh graduates considered.
  • Ability to analyze program results versus expectations, develop strategies and criteria, and prepare data for analysis.
  • Attention to detail and professional judgment in interpreting data and results.
  • Developed communication and diplomacy skills for exchanging complex or sensitive information.
