Location: Davao City

Tebow CURE Children’s Hospital Nurse manages the care of patients in collaboration with the medical team, particularly those undergoing Orthopedic and Reconstructive surgeries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Assisting doctors in patient hospitalization
  2. Investigating and screening cases to confirm whether hospitalization is required
  3. Providing effective treatment on an ambulatory basis
  4. Providing follow-up care to discharged patients and their rehabilitation
  5. Controlling and surveilling communicable diseases to prevent outbreaks
  6. Coordinating with other departments for smooth workflow
  7. Communicating with patients about their disease and treatment
  8. Responding to patients' questions clearly and understandably
  9. Explaining diagnoses and directing patients to specific treatments
  10. Ensuring instruments and equipment are safely maintained and sterilized
  11. Arranging sterilized instruments and equipment in units
  12. Preparing and setting up examination instruments and supplies
  13. Providing nursing care, patient support, and education according to standards
  14. Assisting physicians with procedures
  15. Rotating to other clinical areas as needed
  16. Cross-training in other hospital areas based on skill levels
OTHER DUTIES
  • Upholding quality and efficiency standards in line with hospital programs
  • Adhering to infection prevention protocols to ensure safety
  • Participating in environmentally sustainable practices
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  2. Licensed by the Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing, Philippines; BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications preferred
  3. At least 1 year of experience as a Staff Nurse
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  1. Fluent in Bisaya and Tagalog
  2. Proficient in English, verbal and written
  3. Able to develop and deliver individual patient care plans
  4. Capable of early crisis detection and intervention
  5. Skilled in evaluating patient responses and educational effectiveness
