What You’ll Do Developing architectural concepts and design strategies informed by research, studies, creative exploration and drive for purpose Preparing renderings and presentations that clearly convey design intent, and presenting them to stakeholders Researching, selecting, and specifying architectural materials aligned with project goals and budgets Supporting in the development of project budgets through coordinated design input Ensuring design solutions adhere to applicable codes, regulations, and technical standards Developing technical strategies to resolve design and construction challenges Preparing and reviewing architectural drawings, details, and technical documentation Coordinating with consultants and project collaborators to ensure cohesive integration of technical systems Maintaining organized project records, design files, and technical documentation What Success Looks Like Intentional, sustainability, wellness-driven and holistic architectural and design solutions that align with our vision and standards Clear and creative visual and precise technical communication through drawings and presentations Sustainable materials and specifications that support the project goals Active participation in resolving project challenges Organized, accurate documentation that supports smooth project progression Qualifications Licensed Architect with at least 3 years of post‑licensure experience Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, G​oogle Workspace, rendering and presentation tools Experienced and skilled in construction documentation, technical detailing and code compliance Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to coordinate with consultants and contribute to integrated project delivery Why You’ll Thrive at DEQA Design with Purpose – you act with intention and make an impact.
