Mabuhay This is an exciting opportunity for a Java Developer to join our team in the Philippines. We are a growing company expanding our operations and setting up a brand new office in the country. You will help build our brand and establish our presence in the Philippines, working with a team of professionals in other locations around the globe to shape the future of our business in the region. We are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about their work and eager to make an impact in the dynamic and fast-paced capital markets/trading industry.

You Are
  • A JVM lover who enjoys working with the latest technologies and design patterns
  • Eager to solve complex technical challenges, especially in cloud-based environments and event-driven architecture patterns
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, shares knowledge, and helps others
You Have
  • Significant, professional server-side software development experience in an Agile environment
  • Solid experience programming in Core Java. Exposure to Java 17+ is a plus
  • General familiarity with data structures such as sets, hashes, caches, etc.
  • General knowledge of dependency injection / inversion of control
  • Experience using messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus is a nice-to-have
  • Experience developing e-trading and/or brokerage technology is highly beneficial

The Process

We aim to run a smooth, four-stage hiring process: (1) chat with a recruiter, (2) Zoom chat with a Front-End colleague about Front End knowledge and experience, (3) a face-to-face interview (or Zoom) with a technical task, (4) a final chat with Local Director and Head of Engineering to answer remaining questions.
