JD for Head of Audit & Reports Compliance

  • Develops methodologies and monitoring strategies.
  • Prepares reports and may present findings to a variety of constituents or audiences.
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets information and data to prepare recommendations.
  • Draws conclusions and makes recommendations for changes or resolutions.
  • Coordinates with internal and external agencies.
  • Crafts and recommends response to potentially serious compliance issues and violations, or consults with management on appropriate responses.
  • Reviews information from investigations to ensure resolutions have been satisfactorily implemented or determines if further action is necessary.
  • Participates in negotiating resolutions with the regulator.
  • Participates in risk assessments and provides guidance to mitigate potential risks or conflict.
  • When necessary and required, conduct compliance audits, inspections, reviews, and tests to ensure that the audit findings of the regulator are properly addressed.

Listed below are the minimum requirements for this role.
  • Knowledge of professional standards and best practices related to the financial industry.
  • Ability to conduct reviews and analyze information to compose clear, concise, timely, and professionally written reports.
  • Ability to maintain discretion with confidential information.
  • At least 5 years of experience in regulatory management and/or advisory in a financial institution.
  • Knowledge of regulations of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and Securities and Exchange Commission (e.g., EMI, banks, securities, etc.)
  • Experience in supporting preparation of and submission of responses and supporting documents to the BSP and SEC is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills would be a plus y.
  • Strong team player with the ability to build productive relationships in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Autonomous and independent decision-taker
  • Result-orientation combined with conscientiousness in execution
