Role Overview

The successful candidate will serve as a key finance partner for the Philippines operations, managing end-to-end finance processes while working closely with local leadership, regional, and global finance teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary finance contact for the Philippine office, managing full sets of accounts in collaboration with an external service provider.
  • Report directly to the Country General Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Regional Finance Director based in Singapore.
  • Oversee payroll operations and tax matters in partnership with external providers, ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations, payroll transfers, tax equalization, and treaty exemptions.
  • Prepare and ensure timely submission of reports to meet local and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Apply sound knowledge of accounting standards and procedures to support monthly and year-end closings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, auditors, and tax consultants.
  • Collaborate with the Southeast Asia AR team on pricing, commercial agreements, revenue recognition, and pipeline management.
  • Handle invoicing, collections, client communication, tax form preparation, and cheque deposits.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy with a recognized professional qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Over 12 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally combining Big 4 audit background with multinational corporate experience.
  • Demonstrated success in leading finance functions within mid-to-large sized organizations, with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Strong client service orientation, collaborative approach, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • High level of resilience and adaptability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, intellectual curiosity, and sound professional judgment.
