HVAC Technician

Planate Management Group is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, USA, with a technical support center in the Philippines. We provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate supports the US Department of Defense (DOD) and other US federal agencies with planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services.

We are seeking an HVAC Technician to support the Facilities and Maintenance Project in Subic, Zambales. The technician will be responsible for inspecting HVAC systems, electrical components of HVAC equipment, piped utility services, and fire protection components as part of the facility team.

1. Identify and document maintenance issues on HVAC equipment.
2. Consult with the inspection team regarding the HVAC system and equipment status.
3. Analyze HVAC systems and equipment to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and recommend solutions to optimize performance and efficiency.
4. Attend regular meetings with the project team.
5. Perform other related responsibilities as appropriate.

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC installation and/or repair.
3. Must possess an NCII HVAC or DOMRAC certificate .
4. Knowledge of HVAC systems, building products, construction details/design, and relevant rules, regulations, and standards.
5. Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
