Job ID Posted23-Jul-2025Service lineGWS SegmentRole typeFull-timeAreas of InterestFacilities ManagementLocation(s)Calamba - Laguna - PhilippinesAbout The Role As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and repairing building systems and ensuring their optimal performance, including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services team, focusing on support, preventive maintenance, and repairs of equipment and systems.What You’ll Do Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, life safety, and control systems. Ensure facility and building systems meet applicable standards. Comply with all relevant codes, regulations, governmental directives, and safety standards. Maintain an energy management program to ensure systems operate efficiently. Assist in implementing preventive maintenance to prolong equipment lifespan and perform emergency repairs as needed. Follow safety policies for hazardous materials and maintain a clean, safe workplace. Inspect building systems like fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure proper operation and environmental compliance. Apply technical knowledge to solve complex issues and provide innovative solutions. Share expertise and mentor others within the team. Lead by example, embodying CBRE RISE values, and foster team consensus. Contribute to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and project activities. Operate within broad guidelines and policies. Communicate complex or sensitive information effectively. What You’ll Need Licensed Electrical Engineer (EE) or Mechanical Engineer (ME) with at least 2 years of relevant Facilities Management experience; Data Center experience is a plus. Experience with critical equipment. Strong judgment skills based on multi-source analysis. Open to new perspectives on existing solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Organizational skills with a curious mindset. Advanced math skills for calculations involving percentages, fractions, and financial figures. Willing to work a 6-day shifting schedule. #J-18808-Ljbffr
