The incumbent shall be responsible in the over-all warehouse operations of the distributor. He is responsible in ensuring the maintenance of the warehouse, stocks, tools and equipment that is essential to assure on-time services and delivery.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS
-Responsible for the opening and closing of the warehouse and distributor office.
-Conducts regular inspection of warehouse facility for possible problems on ventilation, lighting, flooding, and the like.
-Ensure that warehouse is designed and stocks are properly plotted and arranged based on the pre-designed warehouse lay-out.
-Ensure that warehouse equipment and tools are properly accounted and in good condition for operational use.
-Observes strict warehouse guidelines in product stocking, handling and inventory.
-Make sure that pop materials and or additional merchandising paraphernalia are properly arranged, and maintained in a specific location.
-Facilitates stocks loading to delivery team.
-Performs other tasks as assigned by his/her superior if deemed necessary.
PRODUCT/STOCK INVENTORY
-Spearheads actual stocks counting and product lay-out in the warehouse.
-Receives actual stocks delivered by principal.
-Conducts counter-audit of stocks for pallet lay-out in facilitation of truck loading, using the pick list summary.
-Conducts re-inventory of warehouse stocks, after truck loading.
-Validates data from the system generated data vs. actual inventory.
-Reports any inventory discrepancy that may arise after actual warehouse inventory.
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
-Ensure that good stocks are properly arranged , with compliance of the approved stocking level on each category.
-Ensure First In- First Out (FIFO) of stocks according to its best before date.
-Keep loose but good stocks to the designated loose section for monitoring.
-Receives return good stocks and ensuring it will be returned back in the warehouse in proper order.
DELIVERY OPERATIONS
-Facilitates truck loading assignments to delivery crew, to ensure non-conflict in delivery route and stocks loading.
-Assigns a delivery team ( driver and helpers) to facilitate the outlet delivery.
-Coordinates delivery concern in field to office personnel.
-Ensures that delivery team achieved target KRA’s in ensuring good servicing to customers
-Manages attendance, scheduling, general discipline and integrity of the delivery team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-At least high school graduate
-Preferably male
-Physically fit to work
-Can do basic math computation and knows how to count
-Preferably with work experience as warehouse crew/personnel
