Responsibilities

• Prepare analysis of GL accounts and journal vouchers for adjustments or reclassifications.
• Prepare and analyze monthly separate and quarterly consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Identify and correct recording errors/process flows to reflect accurate financial reports.
• Prepare and/or review manual journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Monitor and reconcile open item managed accounts.
• Prepare and expand detailed reports/analysis as needed.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Prepare and assist with statutory reporting and adhere to statutory deadlines.
• Assist in improving management financial reporting for accuracy and transparency.
• Assist in reconciliations between management books and external records.
• Assist in improving tax compliance and assist in settlement of BIR open cases with external accountant.
• Coordinate physical year-end inventory counts and cycle counts; review monthly SAP inventory status; update weekly warehouse report/inventory reconciliation.

Requirements

• Graduate of BS Accountancy.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with at least 3–4 years in a supervisory role.
• CPA certified (CPA preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory developments.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision; trustworthy; strong communication, project, and organizational skills.
• Analytical with problem-solving abilities; agile in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work onsite at Manggahan, Pasig.
• Schedule: Day shift.
• Ability to commute/relocate: Pasig City: Relia bly commute or relocate before starting (required).

Main duties & responsibilities

• Supervise accounting staff responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparations.
• Oversee preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Oversee production of periodic financial reports.
• Be responsible for tax planning; file annual corporate tax return.
• Audit accounts to ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Provide financial analysis focusing on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business/Accounting.
• 3–5 years experience in Accounting; CPA passer viewed favorably.
• Knowledge of corporate financial law; hands-on experience with financial management software.

Job Description

Manage and oversee the end-to-end accounting and financial function of the company; work closely with management; handle financial and tax regulatory matters.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA is an advantage but not required).
• Deep understanding of bookkeeping, audits, and accounting principles.
• Lead finance operations and processes; ensure timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with Philippine GAAP.
• Ensure statutory requirements are met, including audits; liaise with management, tax consultants, and external auditors.
• Ensure timely monthly/quarterly/year-end closing; provide management accounts and performance reporting; liaise on financial matters including cash flow, planning, etc.
• Assist in implementing management points and audit findings; supervise journal preparation and reconciliations (bank and inventory).
• Understand regulatory and audit requirements; train new staff.
• Mentor and develop finance team; set example of commitment and ethics.
• Prepare/review tax returns and supervise timely payment; liaise with external auditors and BIR; handle BIR and BOC audits.

Salary : Php60,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
