Bar Captain

Role Description The Bar Captain will oversee bar operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to deliver memorable guest experiences. Responsibilities include training bar staff, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, handling guest inquiries and feedback, and promoting sales through creative presentations and recommendations of beverages. Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and staff. Strong focus on delivering excellent guest experiences and effectively addressing guest feedback and inquiries. Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain an organized bar area. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to improving operations. Must have knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, wine, and spirits. Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the bar staff. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. At least 5-10 years of experience related to the position. Certification in bartending or hospitality is preferred but not required. Responsibilities: Oversee the daily activities of the bartenders and other bar staff, ensuring they adhere to company standards and procedures. Greeting customers warmly, taking their orders, and ensuring they have a pleasant experience. Maintain stock levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies. This includes ordering and restocking as needed. Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to customer requests, ensuring quality and consistency. Train new bartenders and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they perform their duties effectively. Ensure compliance with alcohol regulations and safety protocols. Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including equipment and supplies. Handle customer complaints and resolve disputes in a professional manner. Develop and update beverage menus, and sometimes create new cocktail recipes. Performs duties behind the bar. May be required to also perform outside of the bar as a Bar Waiter, if needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
