Overview

Title: Head of Project Development

Location: Manila, Philippines

About the Role:

  • Renewable Energy Developer with an existing presence in the Philippines
  • Renewable energy utility scale projects (Solar, Wind)
Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with local governments and stakeholders including the Department of Energy, Local Government Units, NGCP
  • Derisk projects under development, driving projects to financial close and construction
  • Lead the financial modelling of all new bid submissions or development expenditure approvals along with the structuring of and securing of debt financing for projects
  • Develop and lead evaluation of offtake strategies
  • Manage an existing project development team
  • Prepare and review business reporting for internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years professional working experience in Business Development or Project Development within the Renewable Energy sector in the Philippines
  • Experience developing financial models for the renewable energy sector
  • Possess strong networking capabilities, with existing relationships with local government entities
  • Proven experience with securing permits and licences for renewable energy projects
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial insights to stakeholders
