DevOps Engineer

Summary You will support project teams working on developing and maintaining mobile & web applications. In this role, you and other specialized roles will work together to fulfill projects ranging from simple features to complex requirements, that demand further growth in deeper systems administration and technologies. Description We expect you to Focus on supporting company operations in adherence to industry best practices and ThinkBIT’s project life cycle, Analyze and figuring out the system needs of an organization Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes Responsible for capacity and storage planning of projects Planning a strategy to maintain system security on the computers and the network as a whole Optimizing and evaluating the system regularly Assigning and updating security permissions for the system network Training or directing users on the correct use of software and hardware within the system Performing problem-solving tasks when alerted by a user or monitoring system Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure. Key Qualifications Has experience with cPanel, AWS and GCP products. In depth knowledge in setting up the shared web hosting services with minimal supervision Back-end infrastructure expert - must be very familiar in backing up, storage management, redundancy, business continuity OS Management knowledge - sees to it that all software, OS and libraries are updated to ensure continuous and stable running of our cloud servers Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and web/mobile services #J-18808-Ljbffr
