AT A GLANCE The Accounting Supervisor of Taxation is responsible for overseeing all tax-related compliance, reporting, and reconciliation activities. This role ensures timely and accurate filing of tax returns, proper documentation of tax transactions, and compliance with BIR and other regulatory requirements, while supporting the company’s overall financial reporting and audit processes. YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY Oversees preparation, review, and submission of all tax filings (VAT, withholding, income tax, and other BIR reports). Ensures compliance with BIR regulations and monitors changes in tax laws that may impact the company. Reviews supporting documents for accuracy and completeness in line with taxation requirements. Coordinates with internal teams and external auditors regarding tax-related schedules, reconciliations, and inquiries. Ensures timely remittance of taxes and proper recording in the books of accounts. Participates in the closing of books, ensuring that tax-related entries are properly reflected in the P&L and Balance Sheet. Mentors and guides members of the Accounting Department in handling tax-related processes. Identifies process gaps, recommends improvements, and quantifies potential impact on compliance and efficiency. YOUR TALENT Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy with strong Accounting and Taxation background. CPA license is an advantage. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Pivot, SAP (or similar ERP systems). In-depth understanding of BIR rules, regulations, and compliance processes. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy. Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Displays initiative for continuous learning and demonstrates a strong work ethic. #J-18808-Ljbffr
