Accounting Associate – Nuthera (Taguig/Mandaluyong area)

Location: Mandaluyong, National Capital Region (Nuthera Philippines)

Overview: Nuthera is a meal plan delivery service. The Accounting Associate provides financial, accounting and office administrative support, handling timely processing of accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash handling and related duties.

You are responsible for:

  • General ledger maintenance in Xero
  • Recording, monitoring and reporting of financial transactions (sales, expenses, etc.)
  • Preparation of payments to suppliers and other business expenses
  • Assist in budget preparation and monitor petty cash and reimbursements
  • Verification and reconciliation of sales; prepare and issue receipts
  • Preparation of reports and monitoring of schedules for tax and permits
  • Financial reporting and bank reconciliation
  • Support HR in payroll and government remittances
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset for a fast-paced startup environment
  • Maintain organization with attention to detail and good time management
  • Be a collaborative, team-oriented professional

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 1–2 years accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Familiarity with Xero is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of tax and government compliance
