We are seeking a full-time, interior designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, candidates will format interiors for both print and digital platforms. Collaborating closely with Project Managers, you will ensure that designs align with each author’s vision and meet production standards.

Responsibilities
  • Format book interiors efficiently, adhering to the style guide and print specifications.
  • Collaborate with the production team and incorporate feedback to meet print and digital standards.
  • Prepare final files for print, ensuring compatibility with platforms like KDP and IngramSpark.
  • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Utilize InDesign tools (paragraph/character styles, tables of contents, baseline grids, indexing, footnotes) effectively.
  • Prepare files for both print and digital formats.
  • Familiarity with KDP and IngramSpark is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Communicate clearly and work efficiently in a team setting.
Qualifications
  • Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Solid knowledge of InDesign features (styles, TOCs, indexing, grids, footnotes).
  • Experience preparing files for print and digital formats.
  • Ability to collaborate with production teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
