Overview

Information Security Analyst responsible for security operations, monitoring, incident response, and compliance support within a multinational IT environment. The role may require night shifts and on-call coverage.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure security policies and standards are followed in accordance with agreed security solutions architecture.
  • Engineering and support for Data Loss Prevention and Cloud Application Security Broker technologies.
  • Drive planning and design processes to translate security and business requirements into actionable information security operational procedures and update knowledge base systems.
  • Handle emails, tickets, phone calls, and security events to provide a high level of service to customers and peer IT groups.
  • Maintain continuous security monitoring and respond to security events.
  • Support and maintenance of other Information Security tools and devices.
  • Ensure that incident reports and correlated events are mitigated.
  • Ensure that the Monthly Computer Security Incident Summary Report is complete for management review.
  • Create problems, incidents, and change tickets for security and vulnerability-related applications.
  • Recommend and engage in proof-of-concept activities on security products to address requirements and gaps.
  • Ensure company compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI, and HIPAA standards.
  • Conduct security awareness training for the company’s employees.
Requirements
  • Should have at minimum 3-year IT work experience primarily in Security Operations.
  • Willing to work on Night Shift and on-call rotation.
  • 3+ years working in a multinational IT Services/IT Enabled Services industry, preferably with Retail Environment experience.
  • A solid understanding of Windows, UNIX, security applications, security tools, and databases.
  • Experience in a Security Operations Center and/or Cloud Security Operations setup.
  • Knowledge in Data Loss Prevention, Cloud Access Security Broker, network security, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems.
  • Knowledge of SOX, PCI, HIPAA, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong stakeholder management, including interpersonal and communication skills.
