Lead Product Architect, 2 Hour Learning (Remote) - $400,000/year USD at Trilogy Base pay range: $200.00/hr - $200.00/hr. This role is perfect for someone with the capabilities of a CTO, a visionary approach to product development, and a fervor for enhancing student success on a grand scale. 2 Hour Learning has reimagined the entire school model by integrating AI and learning science from the ground up. Our students not only excel but surpass expectations, achieving top scores on AP exams and demonstrating remarkable academic growth. You will be a technical product owner at the executive level, overseeing architecture, technical strategy, and AI integration of our learning system. Your decisions will ensure our products remain lean, scalable, and dedicated to enhancing student outcomes. Think like a CTO, act like a product entrepreneur, and marry engineering excellence with learning science to drive continuous innovation. What You Will Be Doing Utilize deep expertise in education products to inform strategic decision‑making. Create technical specifications that prioritize simplicity, efficiency, and long‑term sustainability. Integrate generative AI technologies to enhance and automate engineering processes. What You Won’t Be Doing Engaging in pure people management; the role requires both business insight and technical acumen. Spending time in unnecessary meetings or administrative tasks; overhead is automated so you can focus on value creation through hands‑on work. Offering high‑level strategies without actionable implementation plans; insights should be rooted in product‑level understanding. Lead Product Architect Key Responsibilities Act as CTO for one or more educational products, owning core competencies and driving business value through effective execution and strategic insight. Basic Requirements Profound experience and interest in data‑driven learning science. Over 7 years of experience in making critical architecture and design decisions in software projects, including the application of architecture design patterns or significant open‑source technologies. More than 2 years of experience making design decisions involving cloud computing services, particularly AWS. At least 4 years of experience in roles with full technical and delivery ownership of a revenue‑generating product. Experience developing product features that leverage Generative AI. Proficiency in using Generative AI to streamline work processes. About 2 Hour Learning Education is broken, but 2 Hour Learning proves it doesn’t have to be. Working with us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position immediately available. The role requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. Compensation is $200 USD/hour, equivalent to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Payment is weekly.
