Preventive Maintenance: Schedule and carry out routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts, to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities for each job, ensuring thorough documentation for compliance and future reference. Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs, provide updates on service progress, and offer recommendations for optimizing refrigeration system efficiency and performance. Compliance: Adhere to industry regulations and safety standards, including EPA guidelines for refrigerant handling and disposal, to ensure safe and environmentally responsible practices. Qualifications Technical Expertise: Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining refrigeration systems, with a solid understanding of refrigeration principles, electrical systems, and mechanical components. Certification: Possession of relevant certifications, such as EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants, and completion of formal training programs in refrigeration technology or HVAC systems. Experience: Previous experience working in refrigeration repair or a related field, with demonstrated skills in diagnosing and resolving refrigeration system issues effectively and efficiently.
