Job Description

Responsible for implementing the frameworks for Liquidity Risk Management, Counterparty Credit Risk Management, and Market Risk Management, which are necessary to conduct the identification, measurement, control, and monitoring of such risks and to ensure that risk exposures are within the risk tolerance set by the senior management as aligned with the risk appetite statement.

What You\'ll Do:

  • Prepares weekly updates for team touchpoints
  • Reviews the minutes of Asset-liability committees meetings prepared by the Financial Risk Analyst / Associate and submits to Asset-liability committees
  • Provides support to the Krungsri Risk team to fulfill tasks in required extent, quality, and in a timely manner
  • Ensures that there is adequate separation of duties in key elements of the financial risk management process to avoid potential conflicts of interest
  • Monitors and assesses the performance of members in the Financial Risk Management Team and provides direction on the actionable items for each member to align with the overall goal of the Enterprise Risk Management Team
  • Ensures the accuracy of policies, manuals, and working instructions, and updates the documents as needed, and
  • Accomplishes other tasks assigned by the Head of Enterprise Risk Management Unit.

What You Need To Have:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business Administration, or another related field
  • At least years of risk experience particularly in Liquidity, Market and Counterparty Risk Management
  • Strong understanding of risk concepts, relating to consumer financing and/or financial services business processes
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft PowerPoint

The Market & Financial Risk reporting specialist knows how to convert risk data into valuable reports, is an expert in performing quantitative analysis on big data and build constructive relationships with internal Finance, COOF and Risk Management stakeholders. The successful candidate has strong time management skills, stakeholder management, performs well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and has a proven track record in managing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role you will have the opportunity to support a variety of critical risk deliverables to internal and external stakeholders on daily, monthly and quarterly intervals.

  • Prepare high quality and accurate market & financial risk reports for stakeholders
  • Monitor, analyse, align and report on important concentrations and trends in the credit risk portfolio of ING Bank
  • Provide input for and participate in finance and risk meetings
  • Perform technical analysis on credit risk data used in statutory or regulatory reporting
  • Identify and execute process improvements for reporting and keep individual report manuals up-to-date
  • Strengthen the governance and control environment on reporting process in line with internal and external control requirements
  • Contribute to the digitization/automation of reporting processes
