Senior Software Development Engineer | Founder of Andlang | Tech Pioneer in Programming & Infrastructure

We are expanding our Filipino development team and are looking for experienced Backend, Frontend, and QA engineers to join us. This is a long-term project where we pay premium rates for the Philippines because we value skill, independence, and that “little extra” beyond the ordinary.

We are not an outsourcing shop – we build our own product, treat each other as equals, and trust the team fully without micromanagement. The existing group is Filipino, close-knit, LGBT-majority, and highly collaborative. Tagalog is often spoken during work sessions, and we want to keep that dynamic strong.

Tech stack: .NET 9, C#, REST APIs, SQL (Postgres / Timescale / TIgercloud), GitHub Actions, Docker

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable backend features
• Ensure reliability, security, and clean code practices
• Collaborate with frontend and QA to deliver integrated solutions
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements

Requirements:

• Strong experience in C# and .NET Core/9
• Solid database design and query skills (Postgres/Timescale preferred)
• Experience with Docker and GitHub Actions
• Ability to work independently and deliver production-ready code

Backend Developer

Tech stack: .NET 9, C#, REST APIs, SQL (Postgres / Timescale / TIgercloud), GitHub Actions, Docker

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable backend features
• Ensure reliability, security, and clean code practices
• Collaborate with frontend and QA to deliver integrated solutions
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements

Requirements:

• Strong experience in C# and .NET Core/9
• Solid database design and query skills (Postgres/Timescale preferred)
• Experience with Docker and GitHub Actions
• Ability to work independently and deliver production-ready code

Frontend Developer

Tech stack: Nuxt, Vue, TypeScript, Tailwind, pnpm

Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive, maintainable frontend features
• Ensure great UX/UI and consistent design implementation
• Work closely with backend for smooth API integration
• Write clean, testable, and scalable code

Requirements:

• Strong background in Vue/Nuxt and TypeScript
• Familiarity with Tailwind and component-driven development
• Understanding of testing best practices for frontend
• Able to take ownership and deliver without handholding

QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute test cases for both backend and frontend
• Ensure code quality through manual and automated testing
• Help enforce linting and coding standards
• Catch issues early and provide clear bug reports

Requirements:

• Experience in QA/testing for web applications
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
• Understanding of linting practices and CI integration
• Detail-oriented and proactive in improving quality
