Full-Stack Developer

Overview We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to support National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Artificial Intelligence (AI) efforts. This developer will play an important role helping to create technical solutions for multiple AI challenges. Location: Reston, VA and/or remote. Occasional travel within the National Capital Region (NCR). Responsibilities UX / Front-End Development: Build responsive, human-centered dashboards that allow analysts and stakeholders to view, search, and interact with model/data cards, performance scorecards, and compliance status; implement intuitive interfaces to visualize agent behavior, decision flows, and operational states; collaborate with UX designers to incorporate gamified and feedback-driven UI patterns; develop backend services and APIs to manage model/data card repositories, metadata registries, and ATO-related configuration data; integrate data from model pipelines, governance systems, and agent telemetry into centralized views and dashboards; ensure secure, role-based access control (RBAC) and audit logging are implemented throughout the stack. Agentic Agent Integration: Build front-end and back-end components enabling analysts to task, monitor, and collaborate with agentic AI agents; provide structured views for planner/meta-reasoner outputs, agent self-IV&V reports, and ATO compliance metrics; implement RESTful and event-driven interfaces (AWS EventBridge) for real-time communication between agents and UI components. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience building full-stack web applications in production environments. Strong proficiency in Python (for back-end services) and modern front-end frameworks (React, js, or Angular). Experience designing REST APIs and microservice architectures; containerization using Docker/Kubernetes. Familiarity with data/ML systems and integrating outputs from AI pipelines into front-end user experiences. Understanding of security, RBAC, and CI/CD practices in DevSecOps environments. Desired Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Experience with agentic AI user interfaces and collaborative human-agent workflows; building model/data card dashboards and compliance/ATO visualization tools; working within NGA CORE or other National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA)/Intelligence Community (IC) secure data environments; contributing to or extending open-source AI or full-stack frameworks. Active TS/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain one).
