Responsibilities: Develop and conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars on medical coding guidelines and best practices. Train new and existing coders on ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG assignment, risk adjustment, and compliance regulations. Create training materials, manuals, and assessment tools to enhance coding knowledge and accuracy. Monitor coder performance and provide feedback, mentoring, and retraining as needed. Stay updated on CMS, AHIMA, AAPC, and payer-specific coding changes and ensure timely dissemination of updates. Required Skills: Certified Medical Coder (Preferrably CIC) 2-3 years Coding Training experience Preferrably a PHRN Additional Notes: This position will be working with a business process outsourcing (BPO) company specializing in the medical care industry.
