ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Clearly and accurately respond to information security incident investigations within SLA.
  • Identify potential sources of evidence for investigations.
  • Source, gather, and analyze digital data for forensic analysis of digital activities.
  • Hunt for and analyze system information (e.g., logs, network traffic, disks, virtual memory) for breaches of security policies or laws.
  • Review and update playbooks based on past investigations and incidents.
  • Assess and recommend systems for integration into the SIEM platform.
  • Participate in rotational shifts for the 24/7 Threat Hunting Team.
  • Feed new hunt results to Security Platform Engineering for alert development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Fintech or IT, including hands-on experience with server OS (Windows, UNIX/Linux), WAF (Akamai, CF), IT security systems (Crowdstrike MDR, Firewall/VPN, IPS, Antivirus, URL filtering, Encryption).
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT field (4-5 year course).
  • Training in Information Security, ITSM, Project Management, Business Process Admin, & Quality.
  • Preferred certifications: SECURITY+, CCSA/CCSE, CCNA/CCNP, MCSA/MCSE, RHCT/RHCE, CEH.
