Responsibilities Part of an agile team to develop a scalable, highly available global voice platform Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Engineering leaders and test engineers Manage and understand performance and scalability principles and apply them when developing software Document and communicate clearly Configure, troubleshoot and support VOIP servers Overall management of Telephony Systems Qualifications +2 years hands-on management using Asterisk-based Telephony System across all disciplines (Voice, Chat and email), particularly back-end configuration +2 years of industry experience in developing, configuring and troubleshooting VOIP systems Experience implementing API integrations and configurations with third-party software (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, Zendesk and other CRMs) Hands-on experience in writing scripts; MySQL, Java and PHP is a plus Thorough understanding of VOIP protocols like SIP, RTP, RTCP, WebRTC Good understanding of networking including firewall, ALG and VPN Experience in troubleshooting tools; prior experience building telephony systems using FreeSWITCH is a plus Experience with any public cloud platform is a plus Experience working on complex problems and systems in an Agile/Scrum environment Positive, self-motivated attitude with strong ownership; strong written and verbal communication skills Location and Status Locations: Manila, Philippines.
