We are currently building a talent pool of experienced Logistics Operations Specialists with backgrounds in air freight forwarding and cargo operations. These roles are not currently available for immediate hire. We aim to connect with professionals who have a strong technical and operational foundation in air freight logistics. Once these positions become available, we’ll reach out directly to the shortlisted candidates from this pool to move forward with interviews and onboarding. What you’ll be doing: Manage and update shipment details in internal systems and customer portals to ensure accurate and timely information. Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and brokers to ensure the timely movement of cargo. Prepare and verify air waybills (AWB), invoices, and customs documentation. Track and trace air freight shipments, proactively resolving exceptions or delays. Maintain detailed records of shipments, rates, and vendor performance in Excel and CRM tools. Generate weekly reports summarizing shipment volume, costs, and performance metrics. Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure shipment visibility and accuracy. Support process improvement initiatives to streamline data and documentation workflows. Qualifications and Requirements: 1–3 years of experience in air freight forwarding, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations . Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleanup, reporting). Strong attention to detail with proven data entry accuracy and consistency. Familiarity with air cargo documentation (e.g., air waybills, booking confirmations, export declarations). Experience with logistics or freight management software (e.g., CargoWise, Magaya, Descartes, or similar) is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Comfortable working U.S. business hours and collaborating remotely with global teams. Preferred Skills: Previous experience with freight forwarding companies , 3PL providers , or digital logistics platforms (such as Pelicargo, Flexport, or Airspace). Basic understanding of import/export compliance and IATA regulations . Experience in preparing cost and margin analyses using Excel. Strong organizational and time management skills — able to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
