Job Title: Tax Accountant (IEMOP) Work Arrangement: Onsite Schedule: Full-time Location: Ortigas, Pasig City Employment Type: Full-time Salary: ₱45,000 – ₱57,000 About the Role: The Tax Officer supports the Tax Head and Tax Compliance team in ensuring proper tax reporting, compliance with government requirements, and coordination with both internal and external parties to address tax-related issues. This role involves assisting in tax filings, audits, permits, and reportorial obligations. Key Responsibilities: ● Support the tax officers in identifying and analyzing different aspects of the company’s operations and applicable tax criteria. ● Develop and maintain contact with external and internal parties to ensure appropriate and timely resolution of tax issues. ● Provide guidance to Finance, Accounting, and Operating departments on tax compliance requirements. ● Partner with the Tax Compliance team in managing tax risks and improving tax-related processes across the group of companies. ● Assist in the implementation of corrective actions to address audit findings and collate tax liabilities in coordination with the Treasury Department. ● Ensure compliance with tax and reportorial requirements set by BIR, BOC, LGU, and other regulatory agencies. ● Monitor and ensure completeness of documentation related to IEMOP transactions, including collation of all documents supporting BIR Forms 2307. ● Assist in the preparation, reconciliation, and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (ARF, EWT, FWT, WVAT, FBT, VAT, and ITR). ● Coordinate with financial accountants to resolve discrepancies noted between tax returns and accounting records. ● Assist with BIR submissions and compliance requirements. ● Support annual business permit renewal, gross receipts declaration, and Local Business Tax (LBT) payments, including exemption processing if under ITH. ● Handle Real Property Tax (RPT) assessment requests and payments. ● Provide assistance during year-end audits. ● Perform various tasks and projects as required by tax officers and the Controller. Qualifications: ● Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). ● Knowledgeable in SAP and/or Netsuite. ● Strong written and verbal communication skills. ● Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing tax reporting requirements. ● Detail-oriented with advanced Excel skills. ● Willing to be assigned in Ortigas, Pasig City.
