Job Purpose The Back End Developer will play a key role in developing scalable, secure, and high-performing server-side applications. Working on an innovative project, they will collaborate closely with our client and team to bring robust and efficient system architecture to life.
Key Accountabilities Collaborate with multidisciplinary agile teams to deliver exceptional outcomes to customersUnderstand customer requirements and collaboratively design scalable backend solutionsUse innovative technologies to build secure and performant APIs and servicesIntegrate databases, external services, and third-party APIsContribute estimates for Agile stories and epicsDevelop, document, and test high-quality backend codeWork closely with Frontend Developers and Testers in a collaborative development environmentSolve technical challenges across the stack with our teams and customersContribute to the ongoing development of our engineering standards and backend best practices
Knowledge and Experience 2+ years experience in back-end development using Node.js, Express, or equivalent frameworksExperience with RESTful and/or GraphQL API design and developmentExperience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)Experience working in an Agile environmentFamiliarity with containerization (e.g., Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms is a plus
Personal Attributes Outstanding consulting skills, with strong problem-solving and communication abilitiesA passion for delivering exceptional technical solutions and back-end architectureProactive and collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Seniority level
