Franchise Chef Trainer

The Franchise Chef Trainer will be responsible for training franchisees and their employees in food preparation, cooking, and store operations to ensure successful store openings. This role requires a deep understanding of culinary techniques, standard operating procedures, and best practices for running a franchise store. The Franchise Chef Trainer will act as a mentor and guide, ensuring the franchise team is well-prepared to maintain brand standards and deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Training and Development
Conduct hands-on training sessions for franchisees and their employees on food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu execution.
Train staff on proper food handling, storage, and hygiene to comply with safety and health standards.
Provide comprehensive training on store operations, including inventory management, customer service, and daily processes.
Operational Support
Oversee store readiness for opening by ensuring staff proficiency in operational tasks.
Guide teams in implementing efficient workflows, ensuring consistency with brand standards.
Conduct mock service runs to simulate real customer interactions.
Recipe and Menu Execution
Teach franchisees and staff how to follow standardized recipes and plating guidelines.
Monitor adherence to portion control and quality assurance protocols.
Provide feedback and coaching to improve culinary and operational skills.
Documentation and Reporting
Prepare training materials, schedules, and reports for franchisee onboarding programs.
Evaluate trainees’ performance and provide detailed feedback to the management team.
Maintain records of completed training sessions and certifications.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
Work closely with the operations and quality assurance teams to enhance training modules.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and incorporate relevant best practices.
Provide suggestions for operational improvements to optimize store performance.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in culinary training, kitchen operations, or as a head chef.
Experience in franchise or multi-unit food business operations is highly advantageous.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong culinary skills with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment.
In-depth understanding of food safety standards, hygiene protocols, and inventory management.
Knowledge of franchise business operations and standard operating procedures.
Personal Attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training diverse teams.
Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to dynamic environments.
Strong leadership and mentoring abilities to inspire confidence in trainees.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining brand quality standards.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to travel to different franchise locations for training purposes.
Flexibility to work extended hours during store openings or as needed.
Proficiency in creating training materials and reports using standard software tools.
Work Location: Cavite-based, with travel to franchise locations as required.
