Business Insights Team Lead What can you expect in a Business Insights Team Lead role with TaskUs: Think of yourself as one of the leaders of your department who is responsible for providing the best data analytics experience to your clients, so not just anyone is qualified for the role. Your task center is to support not only your team but also your stakeholders with key insights to make data driven decisions. Key Responsibilities Data Entry and Management: Accurately input and maintain data in various systems and databases. Ensure data quality and consistency by performing regular audits and checks. Compliance and Security: Enforce data governance policies and procedures. Monitor and report on any data security breaches or non-compliance issues. Ensure adherence to regulations Issue Resolution: Act as the first line of support for data-related queries and problems. Escalate complex issues to senior data analysts or IT teams. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of data processes, incidents, and resolutions. Create and update data governance documentation and user guides. Reporting: Generate routine reports on data quality, compliance status, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Required Qualifications Background in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, and Data Insights. Experience managing teams and/or project teams, including direct people management and/or cross-functional delivery. Leading agile teams including global is a plus. Ability to inspire and lead to deliver value—especially without direct influence over resources. At least two years of experience working in Consulting, Business Intelligence, Strategy/Insights, or similar teams. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience providing constructive criticism and action plans for process and product improvement. Ability to manage and prioritize well across competing requirements. High IT literacy with experience using web technologies (Excel, PowerPoint, Google apps). Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is strongly preferred. Experience with SQL, Python, ML, and Data Automation is preferred. Experience with data modeling and engineering. Experience with Data Science and Data Analytics methodologies. Understanding of customer confidentiality standards and ability to help implement those standards by directing team members. Passion for developing Business Insights Analysts and increasing Data Analytics skills. Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Statistics or equivalent experience. Passionate about technology startups and driving innovation with data.
