Overview Discover your 100% YOU with MicroSourcing Position : Commercial Estimator (with construction or fence installation industry) Location : Cyberscape Beta, Ortigas Center, Pasig City Work setup & shift : Hybrid | Night shift Your Role Key Responsibilities Develop comprehensive and detailed estimates for commercial fence installation projects, including time, materials, equipment, and labor requirements, using digital tools and remote collaboration. Review project plans, specifications, and related documents provided electronically to determine project scope and requirements. Prepare and present professional proposals and bids to prospective clients via email, video calls, or other remote communication platforms. Schedule and conduct virtual meetings with customers and operations team to gather necessary information and ensure convenience and timeliness. Source materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage project budgets to maximize profitability, all through remote communication. Review and process contracts, submittals, change orders, and closeout documents in accordance with company policies and client requirements, utilizing digital document management systems. Analyze installer and fabricator reports to compare actual hours and costs against estimates, using remote reporting and communication tools to improve future accuracy. Assist in processing of payments, ensuring alignment with contract terms and company policies, through remote invoicing and follow-up. Work with on-site operations team remotely, ensuring quality workmanship, adherence to timelines, and customer satisfaction by coordinating with project managers and field crews via digital platforms. Coordinate with installation crews, subcontractors, and other stakeholders through remote communication, providing support and oversight as needed. Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, contracts, and project documentation using cloud-based systems. Stay current with industry trends, pricing, and best practices to ensure competitive and accurate estimating. Qualifications What You Need : Proven experience in estimating, preferably in the construction or fence installation industry. Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote client and team interactions. Proficiency with estimating software (Bluebeam preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical documents in digital formats. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
