GROW is currently looking for an Academic Specialist for TLE to be placed for one of our clients in the E-Learning Industry. Our client is an Education Technology company that provides e-learning, coaching, tutoring, and assessment services for K-12 in Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Mexico. QUALIFICATIONS Must have graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with specialization in the subject matter (BS Education major in Home Economics, ICT, Industrial Arts, or Agri-Fishery) At least 3 years of teaching experience in the above subjects (with 2 years minimum in a face-to-face learning setting). Must have experience in creating and developing learning materials tailored for teachers and students, specifically focusing on the Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) subject. Extensive knowledge of TLE for basic education Background for ed-tech trends specific to TLE Familiar with the Chicago Manual of Style (17th ed) and KWF Manwal sa Masinop na Pagsulat or any other style guidelines for writing and editing Familiar with the DepEd K-12 curriculum, Bloom’s taxonomy, and other learning pedagogies specific to TLE Proficient in Google Suite apps such as Docs, Slides, and Sheets DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Subject Matter Expertise: Provides expertise for the assigned subject/group across content creation phases and contributes specialized knowledge during content review cycles Content Production: Manages end-to-end production or a phase of production. This includes hands-on writing, editing, finalizing, encoding, and publishing of the contents as required. Content Development: Curriculum map creation and input during prototyping and development phases. Quality Assurance: Ensuring that the assigned subject matter meets quality standards by adhering to standard guidelines and format.. Other Responsibilities: Takes on ad-hoc projects like partnership development, handles tasks below the current level during resource constraints, and performs other duties as assigned by the manager. RENUMERATION PACKAGE Benefits (Upon Regularization): Leave Benefits: 10 days Vacation Leave (increasing annually, up to a maximum of 20 days), 10 days Sick Leave (unused leave convertible to cash). Health Coverage: HMO coverage for the employee + 1 dependent. Other Perks: Communication allowance of P1,100/month.
