Updates patient records if necessary Encode all cash transactions due for consultation and laboratory/diagnostic tests. Attending to patients inquiries and concerns. Refers patients to the right specialists based on their chief complaint(s) Issues consultation queue numbers to patients Provides health teaching and gives clear instructions to patients undergoing a test or medical procedure. Coordinates with other departments in the delivery of patient care Prepares reports required by the Nurse Supervisor as appropriate. Assists in the Reception area as needed. Duties and Responsibilities: Doctors Clinic and Vital Signs Area In charge of taking vital signs and other assessments required by the physician Prepares doctors room for consultation and/or physical examination. Assists patients to and from the doctors room. Provides basic nursing care but is not limited to RN-level procedures. Attends to emergency and urgency cases under the supervision of a Registered Nurse Attends to patients concerns and inquiries. Assists staff nurses in preparing instruments for minor procedures. Assists physicians during physical examinations. Provides proper charging of supplies used in a procedure. Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of all doctors clinics and vital signs area. Provides sanitation and disinfection of medical equipment used. Coordinates with other departments in the delivery of patient care. Prepares reports required by the Nurse Supervisor as appropriate. Assist in the ultrasound area as needed. Perform ECG procedure. Extending services to medical records when needed Coordinates with the HMO in approval of procedures of the client Dispensed procedures of the client in the system for proper charging and giving the right instruction to the client #J-18808-Ljbffr
