Opportunity to explore advanced video technologies and optimizations. iOS Developer – Core Video & Camera Systems Specialist Position: iOS Developer (Core Video & Camera Systems) Location: (Remote/On-site/Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Mid to Senior Level About the Role: We are building a cutting-edge camera app with professional-grade video features. As our Core Video Specialist, you will lead the development of real-time video capture, processing, and recording functionalities. You will work directly with advanced Apple frameworks to deliver high-performance video solutions for filmmakers, creators, and professionals. Responsibilities: Design and implement core video and camera functionalities using AVFoundation. Develop real-time video capture pipelines with manual controls (ISO, shutter, focus, white balance). Optimize video recording in ProRes, H.264/265, and other high-quality formats. Implement performance-critical features like histograms, zebras, and focus peaking overlays. Work with Core Image or Metal for real-time video filtering and processing. Collaborate with the UI/UX Developer to integrate core camera features into the app interface. Debug, optimize, and profile the app to ensure smooth, low-latency performance. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with Core Image or similar for image filtering and manipulation. Understanding of camera hardware controls for iOS devices. Exposure to integrating cloud-based file uploads and workflows. iOS Developer – UI/UX & Integration Specialist Position: iOS Developer (UI/UX & App Integration) Location: (Remote/On-site/Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Mid to Senior Level About the Role: We are developing a next-gen camera app that delivers a sleek, intuitive, and professional user experience for content creators and filmmakers. As our UI/UX Specialist, you will design and develop advanced user interfaces and ensure seamless integration of complex camera functionalities into a polished app. Responsibilities: Develop clean, responsive, and professional UIs using SwiftUI or UIKit. Design and implement advanced camera control interfaces (sliders, dials, overlays). Integrate real-time video layers, overlays, and visual feedback tools (focus assist, zebras, histograms). Collaborate with the Core Video Specialist to integrate video capture functionalities into the front end. Build auxiliary app features, such as settings, cloud integrations, and onboarding flows. Optimize the UI for performance and responsiveness during real-time video preview. Ensure the app adheres to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines. Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience in creating custom controls (e.g., sliders, dials). Familiarity with cloud integrations for video storage or workflows.
