Responsibilities
  • Manage comprehensive accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments
  • Handle all accounts receivable functions including invoicing, collections, and customer account management
  • Utilize Sage 100 ERP system for all accounting transactions and financial record maintenance
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to document processes and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate directly with operations management on financial planning and cash flow optimization
  • Maintain meticulous financial records with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Support month-end closing processes and financial reporting activities
  • Provide consistent, reliable financial operations support as a dedicated team member
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk with specific expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Proficiency with Sage 100 ERP system or demonstrated ability to master similar enterprise accounting software quickly
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
  • Excellent time management abilities with a proven track record of working independently
  • Experience creating process documentation or strong willingness to develop SOPs
  • Outstanding communication skills for direct collaboration with management team
  • Commitment to consistency and reliability in a part-time role
  • Professional attitude and ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
