Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Senior Accountant, Intercompany Location: Cebu City, PH Work Arrangement: Hybrid Position Title: Senior Accountant – Intercompany Reporting To: Team Lead, Intercompany Location: Cebu, Philippines Summary Description: The Intercompany Senior Accountant is responsible for delivering timely and quality service to internal Dover customers, measured by service level agreements and key performance indicators. The role involves managing the end-to-end process of intercompany accounting, including reviewing transactions, preparing reports, resolving reconciliation issues, and supporting period-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will perform account reconciliations, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with the Intercompany Lead and Manager on strategic priorities. Essential Responsibilities Handle more complex operating companies. Monitor, review, and resolve intercompany receivables and payables; coordinate with intercompany partners. Perform journal entries, prepare accruals for recurring transactions, and ensure timely expense recognition. Participate in netting processes. Support and assist other team members. Coordinate with key stakeholders across the shared services group. Identify process improvement opportunities and lead related projects. Delegate intercompany tasks to accountants. Perform consolidations. Support process streamlining efforts. Provide audit support, both internal and external. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Management Accounting; CPA preferred. Experience in intercompany or general accounting. Proficiency with major ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.); Oracle preferred. Experience in a finance and accounting shared service or BPO is advantageous. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, graphs, and macros. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, and web-based tools. Continuous improvement mindset; Lean Six Sigma training is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Team-oriented and innovative. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate results. Flexible working hours as per business needs. Customer-focused with a positive attitude. Problem-solving skills with limited standardization. Self-motivated, ethical, and professional demeanor.
