Drafting and Documentation Prepare and develop accurate working drawings, construction documentation, and detailed plans using ArchiCAD 27 (transitioning to ArchiCAD 28). Make timely corrections and amendments to drawings based on client, consultant, and internal feedback. Coordinate and manage revisions to working drawings throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain up-to-date project documentation and file management. Compliance and Quality Assurance Ensure all drawings comply with Australian building codes and standards, with a focus on Queensland and NSW regulations. Contribute to maintaining and improving drafting standards and templates within the business. Assist in resolving any design or documentation-related queries during construction. Collaboration and Project Support Work closely with project managers, designers, and consultants to ensure plans meet project specifications and company requirements. Support long-term projects and contract work by delivering accurate, high-quality drafting outputs within agreed timelines. Perform other role-specific duties as required. Bachelor’s degree in Building Design or a related field (highly desirable). Minimum 5 years of experience in Drafting, Building Design, or a related discipline. Proven experience as a Draftsperson in the residential construction industry. Proficiency in ArchiCAD 27, with readiness to transition to ArchiCAD 28. Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards, particularly for Queensland and NSW residential projects. Ability to produce accurate, high-quality working drawings and construction documentation. Excellent attention to detail and capacity to work with minimal supervision. Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external consultants. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
